It was one of the most challenging periods of his life, last 2010. His previous sales job went down, and things aren’t right. The place he lived in is just small, with an economy based on real estate and tourism. The same with many workers, he already tried everything. Submitting resumes to the top 50 companies, but still, no one replied, which means zero results. Moreover, an advertisement on Medicare supplements, medicare advantages plans, prescription drug plans and costs was seen on the Craiglist.
That advertisement catches Jason’s attention, and so he directly asked the recruiter about her story, being a Medicare agent. Then the agent told that around 80% insurance agent didn’t make it.
But, despite the negative things thrown, there’s more possibility of success! He decided to pursue it. Yes! He even took the medicare insurance exam and studied it using some information on the library and online resources. The good news is, he passed! After the licence certification, as soon as he will be contracted, he could start the online training and the AHIP Medicare Training. Within the next two weeks, Jason Blake passed all the exams and training.
Now, he’s also giving back this opportunity to other people. He trains and supports other Medicare agents also. These benefits all from transitioning to a whole and a new career. Taking a career change isn’t easy – otherwise, everyone would be doing it. But it is possible.
